I have not even finished reading it and already think that it was worth every penny! I am considering changing careers and find this book a great resource. If you buy this book and find it is too deep, keep it, you can always get a simpler book, then come back when you're ready.The book is not a complete introduction to programming or electronics. I found that this study guide covered relevant information that would be found on the exam. The other is simple programming in C. Solutions consist of C code and libraries, and electronic components. I bought the book three days ago and read all 386 pages or so in a couple of days. This is more apt, given the growing plethora of network protocols and technologies even by a single vendor. We both count that as success. Yeah, go to a university open house. Neither is there a section on drafting jackets or coats, which cannot be derived solely from the lessons in the book.
