I have been ordering the Harry Potter books in German for some American friends who spent many years in Germany. Great book if you want to learn how to lean up. Logic, for him the most general of all the sciences, attempts to isolate the elements or operations common to all of them. A lighter touch would have sufficed. The book also contains some essays on contemporary topics related to Turing's work such as the controversial area of so-called hypercomputation. It is of the essence of language from the point of view of science that it communicate meaning with respect to matters which are true or false.
