The story was fast paced and suspenseful, with complex characters from previous books in the series, yet readers gain a much deeper knowledge of them, learning more about the reasons they act the way they do. I think because I was ready for different words at different points along the way. I have read many memoirs about self-injury, and none provided me with as much as hope as "Comes the Darkness, Comes the Light.". At this price, no one can lose.. I read well into the night, riveted to my kindle, and highly recommend Unforgettable, and the three previous books in the series as well.
