Ninety years on from the birth of Alan Turing such issues are more relevant and pressing than ever, and this book makes an excellent advanced introduction to the breadth of Turing's work.. It is extremetly well written and stays entertaining throughout. It would have been nice to have some pictures of the ship at sea operating at high speed, but this is not a significant shortcoming.The text is very limited and consists of a brief overview of the ship's history, some abtracted log entries during trials, and a listing of the voyages during the active life of the ship. I am starting with Suite VI, which I studied in high school. Scarlett's basic writing style was easy to follow, even the more cryptic elements of the Great Prophet. Of course the book does not replace various tools out there meant to address these needs, but it simplifies your evaluation process and decisioning. I want to be able to play and sing these old time favorites at the same time, and the Hal Leonard system makes it easy for me to not have to think too much. It will be an important reference for government agencies, and other serious users of economic data.
